Lexington, Ky Escort Agency Becomes a Top National Agency…with Help From Police (Part 1)

Let’s continue our investigation into the murder of Deborah Wardlaw by showing how Mike Comberger, owner of Fantasy’s Escorts, became a national powerhouse among prostitutes and escort agencies with a little help from the Lexington police and former Fayette County Attorney, Margaret Kannensohn.

My investigations beginning in 1997 started pointing to a few major players in the Lexington area. The more I heard about Mike Comberger and Fantasy’s enterprises the more I became concerned. I started investigating Mr. Comberger and relaying my findings to local churches, mayor’s offices and Fayette County Attorney, Margaret Kannensohn. The churches were concerned and some of the mayor’s offices contacted me and we discussed ways to regulate and eliminate human slavery by mean of prostitution and escort agencies. Margaret Kannensohn and Fayette County Police officers, however, were not only less helpful but became very defensive and threatening to me.

Here are links to letters that I had sent out to various sources with mixed results. You may view or even download the documents at this link.

Deborah Wardlaw was murdered during the time that I was doing these investigations and writing these letters. As you can see, I was intimately aware of the escort industry and the major players involved during that time. Deborah was no longer cooperating with the corrupt vice cops and this made her a target. Mike Comberger was not only cooperating with vice but using them. Mike had officers driving the escorts to jobs, hanging out at the agency’s townhouse and even partaking of the escorts’ vices.

This made Mike nearly invincible. So much so that he wore silk shirts unbuttoned with chest hair and large bawdy gold chains around his neck. He had a jeweler make a gold copy of his logo and made each girl that he considered “his” wear it on a chain that he would purchase for them. He had a penchant for driving classic Cadillacs with every detail emblazoned in gold including the wheels. This would normally make someone like him an easy target for police to spot. Mike didn’t seem to worry with an off-duty officer tagging along at his side everywhere he went. I spotted Mike and a girlfriend/escort at an event at the Continental Inn once. A few minutes later an off-duty officer pressed me into a table using his body weight. He then leaned over and told me that he worked for Mike and Mike had the protection of the police department so I’d better stay away from him (Comberger). When Mike found out that I was investigating him and his relationship to the police he found me at a gas station and ran me over in front of 25 witnesses. Though I wrote many letters and filed all the paperwork, Mike Comberger was never arrested nor charged in this incident. The officers that would later threaten and possibly murder Deborah Wardlaw as well as set me up for many false arrests were in charge of this file. We’ll discuss this more in detail later.

The police and County Attorney, Margaret Kannensohn, famously ran highly publicized stings on massage parlors and escort agencies over the years. However, in the coming articles I will prove that the only prostitutes busted during these ‘stings’ were the independent ones or the stubborn agencies that refused to pay the ‘protection’ money.

Below you will find my most recent e-mail regarding Fantasy’s Escorts availability. The website explains that you must undergo a background check before booking and you must use a credit card. The background check is to make sure that you are not a police officer or agency that is not on the payroll. It wouldn’t do any good. Whenever a good officer comes along, usually a rookie, and they start to look into corruption and ties to organized crime and prostitution they are set up and gotten rid of. An accusation alone is usually enough to destroy someone’s career.

You can see this in the case of local police officer, Joshua Cromer, famous for arresting John Michael Montgomery. Mr. Cromer’s interest in corruption within the ranks at the Lexington Police Department made his arrest of a celebrity a convenient way to discredit him before he could prove his suspicions. Google the events in Mr. Cromer’s life after he left the force and you’ll see what typically happens to anyone who becomes a target of the dark side of police politics. I know of several other stories of harassment from gangs of officers, one even leading to the suicide of the victim of the harassment, a local minister and businessman. Let’s not forget what happened to Fred Mills, manager of the Kentucky Theater, when he crossed these very same people. He dared play a classic porn show at the theater. Not an average porn but one considered to be a classic of film-making in general. The city confiscated the film, Mills fought and won and the city had to return the film to the theater. Not long afterward a couple claimed to need a ride. Mills, known to be a very nice gentleman, agreed to give them a ride. They didn’t get very far and the local police pulled them over. The passengers were allowed to leave but Mills was detained. A questionable search found a small amount of cocaine in the back seat. Mills was arrested and charged. As with my case, a long fight ensued eventually leading to the dismissal of all of the charges. Mills had won but his name had been slandered and the costs of this type of harassment go beyond monetary. Fred Mills, like myself, will never completely trust those who are expected to protect us from exactly the actions they engage in.

Human slavery and government corruption go hand in hand. Both are abhorrent and dangerous and seldom exist without the cooperation of the other. You can help me and other decent citizens of America by making phone calls to organizations like your local Rape Crisis Center, HALT and your local police departments, county attorney and attorney

Getting HTML Right Part 2 – Technical Things and Testing

Article by Mike Hayes

It is important to be organized with regard to the naming and saving of files (your webpages), their directories and the testing of them. (This article is based on MicroSoft Windows and making use of the Internet Explorer browser for testing.)

Most HTML editors will take care of the suffix of your files but for this article I’m going to assume you’re using a text editor, like WordPad or Notepad for your HTML documents. What’s important is that you don’t forget to add the suffix, either.html or.htm to the document before you save it to disc. The two text editing systems mentioned don’t do it for you.

Its an absolute must that you always use the same suffix for all pages. Either.html or.htm, then you won’t suddenly find “Files missing”. So make a habit of giving all your HTML documents the same suffix otherwise you’ll just confuse yourself later when you’re trying to link up all your pages.

It’s a good idea to define a (sub)directory purely for your web page(s). For example:

(The asterisks are only intended to demonstrate indents)

My Documents**Web pages****Test web page product 1******images****Test web page product 2******images****Live web page product 5******images

Always put the images for a specific webpage into a sub-directory under that page’s sub-directory. That way your info is grouped logically together.

In Windows Explorer you select (left click) the directory you want to put the new sub-directory in, in the example that’s ‘My Documents’. Then select ‘File’ (top left-hand corner), then ‘New’ from the ‘File’ menu and then ‘Folder’. This will prompt you for a folder name. Enter the name you require, in the example we’ve typed in ‘Web pages’, hit ‘Enter’ and your new sub-directory is in place. Then selecting the new sub-directory follow the same menu selection as above and now open the ‘Test web page product 1′ sub-directory. And of course, the same routine to place sub-directory ‘images’ under ‘Test web page product 1′. And so on.

When you’ve finished coding your webpage/document, save it with a name you’ll remember, e.g. ‘test-web-page-01.html, in your test directory like this. First select ‘File’ then ‘Save As’, then type in the name you want and click ‘Save’.

If you now double-click on the file name in Windows Explorer the browser will start up automatically and your page will be displayed in all its glory. Now when, or if, you see an error or a needed modification you can click back to the editor window, make the change, save the document, go back to the browser window, ‘Refresh’ your browser window and see whether your correction has worked.

If you intend to have more pages on your site with links between them then simply define the page to link to without any directory prefixes. Just put all the pages in the same directory and they’ll be found.

And for images

Here are three professional HTML editors you may want you try out when you’re up and running.

NVU – free programme – nvu. comFirst Page – free and purchase – evrsoft. comDreamweaver Ć – trial then purchase – adobe. com

But as I have suggested before, before using one of these tools just write your HTML coding in Notepad or Wordpad. Why? Because it’ll give you all important hands-on experience whereas with the tools, they’re doing so much for you you might miss the point. And why not start by writing your coding on paper after you’ve made a sketch of how you’d like your page to look.

Good coding.
